Motorised blinds & curtains

A remote is enough.
Smart control is optional.

Motorisation is useful for large glazing, hard-to-reach windows, child-safe rooms and several blinds that should move together. Smart-home control is optional: a correctly specified system can still operate simply from a handheld remote or wall control.

A few terms, explained

Simple to use.
Clearly specified.

You don’t need to choose a motor before talking to us. Start with how you want to use your blinds.

Rechargeable or hardwired?

Rechargeable battery motors can avoid new mains wiring in a finished room. Hardwired motors suit projects where a qualified electrician can provide and connect the supply. Size, access and everyday use help decide which is suitable.

What do RTS and Zigbee mean?

These are control systems used by compatible Somfy motors. The right choice depends on the motor, controls and any smart-home equipment. We confirm compatibility and available feedback as part of your specification.

Do I need TaHoma or an app?

No. Compatible remotes and wall controls provide straightforward operation. A TaHoma switch adds app control, schedules and compatible smart-home connections when you want them.
