A little guidance
The light you want.
The privacy you need.
Start with how you use the room. Do you want soft daylight, less glare or a darker bedroom? The fabric and the way it fits both matter.

Three useful starting points
What do the fabric names mean?
Before you choose
Look beyond the fabric.
Tell us when you use the room and what you want to change. We’ll compare suitable options against the actual window.
Does blackout fabric mean a completely dark room?
An opaque fabric blocks light through the material, but light may still enter around the edges. The window shape, blind position and fitting method affect the finished result. We assess these during the survey.
Will sunscreen blinds give me privacy at night?
Sunscreen fabric gives stronger daytime privacy than night-time privacy. If privacy after dark matters, discuss a second layer or another fabric with our team.
Can curtains help with light control?
Many suitable curtain fabrics can be paired with a room-darkening lining. The heading, returns and track position also affect the result. Voiles and sheers soften daylight and can be used as part of a layered treatment.
Bring the room into the conversation.
You don’t need to know the product name. Tell us which room it is, whether you need privacy during the day or after dark, and how much daylight you want to keep.
