What this website uses

Our website uses optional Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, only with your permission. Social feeds are not embedded. We use local browser storage for the saved choices and basket features you choose to use. These functional features work whether you accept or reject optional cookies.

The hosting service may use cookies needed to deliver or protect the site. These are separate from the saved choices described below.

Optional Google Analytics

On baldoyleblinds.com, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which pages customers use and whether they complete an enquiry. It loads only after you accept analytics cookies. We do not send your name, email, phone number, address, enquiry notes or URL query strings with our analytics events. Contact-link clicks are counted separately from successful form submissions.

The _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish visits and sessions. Their default lifetime can be up to two years. Your cookie choices are saved on this browser for six months, after which we ask again. You can change your choice using the button below. Rejecting analytics stops further tracking and removes these analytics cookies on this website; it does not erase information already received by Google.

Ordinary visits to our shared test site are not tracked. Read Google’s privacy policy and our measurement privacy information.

Optional advertising measurement

Google Ads helps us measure whether an advert leads to a new enquiry. This is a separate cookie choice from Analytics. Advertising measurement starts only when you accept it. Google may receive page information, technical device information and ad-click identifiers. We send an enquiry reference to prevent the same submission being counted twice; we do not send your name, contact details, address or message. We do not use personalised advertising.

Google’s _gcl_* cookies may retain ad-click information for up to 90 days. Rejecting or withdrawing advertising measurement stops our conversion events and removes these cookies on our domain; it does not delete data already received by Google. Both choices are saved for six months. Previous analytics consent does not automatically grant advertising consent.

Saved on this device

These choices stay in this browser and do not automatically sync to other devices. Clearing browser data or using a different browser can remove or hide them. If storage is blocked, saving may not work; you can still browse and contact us.

Secure checkout

The necessary bb_shop cookie links a saved checkout to your browser and expires after 30 days. A session storage order identifier lets you recover that checkout after a refresh; it clears with the browsing session or when you start another order. Square may use storage required for its secure payment form and fraud protection. Your card number is not saved in our browser storage.

When you leave this site

Links to WhatsApp, maps, reviews, social media and supplier websites open an external service. Square’s secure card form loads on payment pages. VELUX colour swatches load from the supplier’s image service. Social feeds are not embedded. Their cookies and privacy settings apply when you visit them.

Optional address lookup

Choosing “Find my address” sends your Eircode through our server to Postcoder to retrieve your postal address. This feature does not load a third-party browser script, set third-party cookies or save your search in browser storage. You can use manual entry instead. Read the address lookup privacy information.

Your enquiry details

Your contact details are sent when you submit the consultation form. If you use Eircode address lookup, your Eircode is shared before form submission as explained above. Clearing a shortlist does not delete a submitted enquiry. For information about those records and your rights, see our privacy notice or email info@baldoyleblinds.com.
